Weekly Wants | Make-Up Bags

You know you have problems when you unearth a Mulberry pouch (much to your delight of course) then you start to a) wonder whether you have been struck by temporary memory loss b) congratulate yourself on how ballsy you were to blow your student loan on such frivolous purchases or c) admit you have quite the problem with acquiring pretty make-up bags - despite the fact you never use them. Check mate, I'm ticking all of the above. Glad we can gloss over the details. Let's take a peek at my most-wanted styles...

1. Colour Block Purse - Marks & Spencers

Not one to resist the pastel perfection of a minty hue, this make-up bag is from none other than M&S. Available with a co-ordinating coloured coral wash bag, they make quite the perfect duo for neatly transporting all your beauty essentials.

2. Hearts Make-up Bag - Alphabet Bags

Forever harbouring a soft spot for Alphabet Bags, not only do they fulfil my love for all things initial based - the company itself is run by the seriously cool married couple Hayley and Lucas.

Strictly for your birthday list, it may be quite the indulgent gift - but for a woman who designed a collection on the ethos that 'a place for everything and everything in it's place' - is a lady after my own heart. With a neat little compartment for brushes on the reverse, it's ideal for traveling in style.

Make like a supermodel and house all your beauty must-haves in Charlotte's iconic make-up bag. Complete with kisses from of all the leading ladies in her life, make sure to take note of the empowering quote on the reverse!

Did you know a flock of flamingos is known as a flamboyance? Like birds of a feather, lend a playful quirk to your collection and be sure to flock to this perfectly pretty addition.

I'll take them all please.. let's just ignore the Anya Hindmarsh one I uncovered in my stash. Shh.

Sunday Style | Get In Line

Cream Striped Dress - Warehouse   Sunglasses - Ray Bans  Heels - River Island

With a summer of exciting dates in the diary, dressing for the occasion had never been so suitably stylish until I came across this lined shift dress from Warehouse. Complete with the timeless tailored cut, I simply couldn't resist the candy coloured grey stripes and figure flattering a-line skirt. Paired with a recent wardrobe addition (a congratulations - you got the job! present to myself - from myself), were the darling nude pink leather block heels from River Island. Serving up a relatively low heel, they offer both comfort and style for those of us who haven't quite mastered the art of walking in high heels.

Now's all that's left to do is find a lipstick to match the coral stripe! Any recommendations much appreciated.

Weekly Wants | Radley

As a self-confessed lover of handbags, it may come as quite a shock that I can count my collection on one hand alone. Yes really. A firm believer in quality over quantity, it certainly pays to invest - whether it be a timeless leather tote or simply a versatile knit. With this in mind, and the fact that I have convinced myself that I most definitely need a little cross body bag for my city break come later in the year, I decided to have a peruse a brand I had recently spotted on a handful of blogger pals. Radley.

Overwhelmed by their plethora of contemporary and chic offerings for summer, I found myself harbouring a long wish-list of coveting pieces. From their sleek Clerkenwell collection to the satchel inspired Grosvenor, each range echoes their rich British heritage and design. With premium leathers and all priced well below the £250 mark - it's really rather tempting...

In the mean time, I'll have to do some serious girl math to see whether I can invest in the blush pink Threadneedle Bag (which may I point out - is in the sale at £69!).

Trend Talk | Zara Pearl Earring

Raise your hand if like me you simply couldn't resist the temptation of the Zara summer sale? Well that makes two of us. Not being able to pass up on the chance of moving my most coveted pieces in and out of my basket, I finally settled on these dainty and darling pearl earrings. Offering a stylish spin on the timeless pearl, their unique nature captured my full attention. Without causing to much of fashion scene (I don't really do statement earrings), they are rather simple and sophisticated - just as pearls should be!

Here are a few other earring offerings that play on the two part trend:

Snapshots from Hampton Court Flower Show 2015

With a love of all things floral, this weekend my brother Jack and I tapped into our green natured sides and made our way to the beautiful sprawling grounds of Hampton Court Flower Show. Having been lucky to attend Chelsea earlier in the year for work, I was eager once again to set my sights upon the brilliant blooming gardens and floristry showcased at this marvellous occasion. Marking the 25th anniversary of the show, Hampton Court Flower Show is true to it's name and offers a royally fun day out - with plenty to be explored and uncovered!

Showcasing the the latest trends and cutting design in the horticultural world, each of the diverse gardens on display convey a thought-provoking message or experience. With each and every blossom and greenery being carefully chosen and planted to bring something completely unique to the garden in question, the level of attention for detail is really rather remarkable.

Perhaps one of my most treasured parts of the show is the Rose Marquee. Quite an overwhelming sight to behold, home to hundreds upon hundreds of perfectly blossomed roses in almost every hue that fill the tent with their soft fragrant scent.

Next we set our sights upon Floral Pavilion, bringing together a wealth of plant-life and florals from up and around the country, it played host to the most unusual and spectacular greenery.

A mere snippet of of day, I thought you may enjoy a peek at the beautiful flowers on display - it really is a enchanting day out. Especially with a glass of Pimms in hand!

Have you ever visited the Hampton Court Flower Show?

Fashion's Essential | The White Tee

Come the warmer weather, summer style for me is all about mixing key wardrobe pieces with a fresh injection of colour and print. Taking things back to basics however, one stylish essential my wardrobe calls out for is the effortless crisp, cotton white t-shirt. Completing the foundations for any capsule wardrobe, there's nothing quite as timeless as a white tee thrown over your trusty denim skinnies with a slick of red lipstick - the words of a true self-confessed Pinterest addict.

Linen T-shirt - Banana Republic

Having pursued the many offerings from the high-street, Gap was a near winner and as was J.Crew with their famed vintage linen range, burdened with the pesky exchange rate - not so much. It wasn't until my (not so little) brother step foot into Banana Republic to try on a jacket (student life is so sweet), did I chance upon their take on the perfect white tee.

As Gap's slighter refined, more preppier older sister Banana Republic is brand I rarely find myself perusing. Capturing my full attention however were their neatly stacked piles of linen t's. Sheer without being too revealing, loose fitting without being too oversized, incredibly soft with a marl light textures - sure they might be hand-wash, but these t's deserve all the care and attention for being such a trusty staple.

So much so, I couldn't resist snapping up three. Originally priced at £25 (ouch), they were reduced to ten bucks with an additionally 25% off. Making that the grand total sum of three perfect t's for less than the original price of one. With the dark marl grey only available online, hop foot to your nearest branch to take a peek! I picked up mine in the quaint Sloan Square branch.

Tell me, where do you pick up your trusty wardrobe basics?
